Our clients insurance portfolio includes PII, Directors & Officers (D&O), Cyber, Commercial Combined, Travel and Personal Accident, Employers, Public and Products liabilities, Terrorism, Car Fleet and a number of Partner specific policies.

  • Senior Manager grade paying c.£75,000 Base Salary

Job Description

The role will be responsible for managing all lines of insurance within the portfolio, including their renewals, of which some policies include other businesses within the group and requires liaison with key stakeholders across the business. Also included is claims management, broker relationships, budgeting, document management, point person for general queries, reporting on policy activity and advising on improvements, such as minimum claim criteria and reporting trends to feed into training.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Insurance Senior Manager should have:

  • Relevant experience and qualifications within insurance portfolio management, claims management and insurance renewals and data gathering within a Professional Services firm..
  • Experience of supervising colleagues, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with policy and procedures
  • Experience within area to handle most situations without supervision and provide advice and guidance to others.
  • Experience of interpreting policy and developing procedures/systems.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex information/data and understand the impact on their discipline and wider firm.
  • Able to establish and maintain strong and credible working relationships, influence others and may be required to motivate a team.
  • Team-focused mentality, understanding that the function must work collaboratively to drive success.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to be persuasive.
  • Able to use judgement / experience to tackle issues and seek advice on more complex problems.
  • Strong analytical skills, based on systems and models relevant to the field of work.
  • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
