Job Description

The key responsibilities for the HR Assistant role are:

  • Administrative Support: Maintain employee records, update HR systems, and manage personnel documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Assist with job postings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
  • On boarding & Off boarding: Support the on boarding process for new hires, including preparation of induction materials, and ensure a seamless off boarding experience for leavers.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance on policies and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and help coordinate employee benefits administration.
  • Training & Development: Support the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and performance appraisals.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure HR practices are compliant with employment laws and assist in preparing regular HR reports.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the HR Assistant role is someone with the following:

  • Proven experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS) is a plus.
