Job Description

  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks that align with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across all departments.

  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, providing insights into governance performance.
  • Lead and manage internal audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Governance Manager should have:

  • Experience in governance, risk, or compliance within the public sector.
  • Has previously managed a team and had direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant qualification in governance, risk, or a related field.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
