Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes in line with the organisation's goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and feedback effectively.
  • Ensure the nursery provides a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Monitor and manage the nursery's budget and resources efficiently.
  • Promote the not-for-profit ethos of the organisation within the local community.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Nursery Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in childcare or early years education.
  • Experience in managing a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and standards within the education sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
