As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide crucial support to the wider conveyancing team, supporting their caseloads, and assisting in an administrative capacity.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Conveyancing Assistant include:

  • Supporting the work of the conveyancing team, along with general and more complex administration tasks.
  • Working closely with the Conveyancers and Legal Administrators to ensure a first-class service is provided.
  • Responsible for amending and collating letters with enclosures in line with set deadlines.
  • Carrying out a number of post-completion tasks.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and third parties, responding to correspondence, calls and emails in a prompt manner.
  • Work with the Matter Lawyers, Team Manager and others within the wider Real Estate Group where required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Conveyancing Assistant will have:

  • Experience working within conveyancing and an understanding of conveyancing procedures - this can be in a law firm or estate agency (highly desirable)
  • Excellent clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
  • Be highly organised
  • Have the desire to work in an interesting, fast paced, and collaborative environment
