Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Cooperate with partners, e.g. legal firms, in multiple locations.
  • Communicate policies to internal parties; maintain and update databases with guidance.
  • Provide training and support on compliance matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments; monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance rules.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to board
  • Support the team otherwise, as required.
  • Ensuring that all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within the Financial Services industry as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Compliance Officer should have:

  • A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Some compliance experience within a regulated industry would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
