The Warehouse Coordinator will be a crucial part of the logistics team, ensuring efficient and effective operations within their new site in Rugby based transport & distribution centre. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of coordinating and overseeing warehouse activities.

Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the below

  • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities
  • Implement operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure efficient use of warehouse space
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery times
  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse efficiency

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Coordinator should have:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse data systems
  • Excellent coordination skills
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Experience in driving few forklift trucks such as counterbalance and PPT
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 12nn - 8pm
