Job Description

  • Develop and implement efficient logistics and distribution strategies.
  • Oversee all logistical operations and ensure the effective and timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and transporters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.
  • Optimise operational processes to increase efficiency and improve performance.
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics team.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the distribution and/or logistics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations and principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software.
