Job Description

Virtual Host, Berkshire:

As a Temporary Virtual Host, responsibilities include:

  • Managing virtual meetings via Teams and Zoom, including camera, microphone, and breakout room settings.
  • Assisting attendees with technical queries during live sessions.
  • Taking accurate notes using meeting text boxes.
  • Facilitating smooth screen sharing for hosts and participants.
  • Monitoring and responding to raised hands or questions promptly.
  • Providing remote troubleshooting for Teams and Zoom on PCs and Macs.
  • Installing, uninstalling, and re-configuring Teams and Zoom software remotely.
  • Supporting multiple virtual sessions simultaneously, ensuring timely assistance.
  • Confident Customer Service to support paying customers

The Successful Applicant



The ideal candidate will have:

  • Reliable internet access and a suitable home working setup.
  • Be available each week for circa 25 - 30 hours, with exact shifts released at start of each month
  • Good IT and systems skills - you need to be able to go into customers remotely and install/uninstall programs and modules
  • Proven experience with Teams and Zoom, including advanced features.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to support multiple users at once.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a calm and patient approach.
  • Experience in remote technical troubleshooting for PCs and Macs.
  • Confidence in re-configuring and re-installing software remotely.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

What's on Offer

Circa £90.00 per day paid on a half day basis.

A training session could last from 1.5 - 4 hours at the same half day pay rate. (you need to be happy with this situation if you apply)
