Job Description

  • Ensure on-time and complete delivery schedules.
  • Utilise planning software to dispatch and control work efficiently.
  • Review plans for errors and ensure they are accurate before coordinating drivers.
  • Monitor and manage driver schedules.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delays or changes to their deliveries.
  • Resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining efficiency.
  • Improve service and efficiency in alignment with internal and external KPIs.
  • Assist in investigating customer complaints and delivery queries.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Controller should have:

  • The ability to work various shift patterns (mornings, nights, weekends)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Ofiice, Excel and Outlook
