Job Description

  • Design, develop, and implement training programmes tailored to organisational requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Create engaging and interactive instructional materials, including e-learning modules.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees participating in training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector standards and regulations in all training activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on instructional design trends and technologies to enhance training delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Training & Instructional Design Consultant should have:

  • Experience working in complex, hierarchical organisations
  • Proven expertise in instructional design and training development.
  • Experience working within the public sector or a similar environment.
  • Proven experience in training design (not just content creation)
  • Ability to work from concept to classroom delivery
  • Experience in large-scale programme design and delivery
  • Strong proficiency in e-learning tools and software.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing training needs.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in learning and development.
