Job Description

* Lead, Mentor, and Motivate: Inspire team members to achieve performance goals and meet deadlines by setting clear expectations and leading by example.

* Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support to help employees reach their full potential.

* Task Coordination: Assign and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members' strengths align with operational needs.

* Team Development: Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

* Communication: Promote open and effective communication within the team and with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

* Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve workplace conflicts to maintain a positive and productive environment.

* Team Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and identify improvement opportunities.

* Attendance Management: Oversee attendance, conduct return-to-work interviews, and support employee well-being.

* Warehouse Processes: Have a full understanding of all warehouse operations and be capable of training others in best practices.

* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure all team members adhere to SOPs to maintain efficiency and consistency.

* Health and Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

* Housekeeping: Maintain high housekeeping standards for a safe and organized workspace.

* Stock Integrity: Ensure stock control processes are followed to maintain inventory accuracy.

* Operational Waste Management: Identify and implement improvements to minimize operational waste.

* Security: Ensure the warehouse is securely opened and closed and manage security procedures during out-of-office hours.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Team Leader should have:* Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a warehouse environment.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

* Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve operational goals.

* Problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
