Job Description

The Strategic OD Business Partner will:

  • Develop and implement organisational development strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure future readiness and capability.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive cultural and behavioural change.
  • Design and deliver employee engagement programmes to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide expert advice on leadership development and talent management strategies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of OD initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage a small team of advisors.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout all HR activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Strategic OD Business Partner should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in organisational development or strategic HR roles within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce planning and change management principles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders effectively.
