The company is known for its commitment to innovation and maintaining rigorous standards, fostering a productive workplace for its employees.Job DescriptionReview of material certification - 3.1/3.2 - Mill certificates, 2.1 - Certificate of Conformity, NDT records, welding records, etc.Review of works orders to ensure material issued is compliant to customer requirements.Support the contract review process, ensuring that it is adhered to and fully reviewed prior to acknowledgements -Quote2OrderCompilation of material certification/documentation packages process for all customer documentation requirements as defined by the relevant customer contracts.Take ownership of Customer complaints relating to doc packs compiled and provide resolution to issues raised.Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative to achieve required deadlines.Assist in the delivery of key activities and projects as required.Produce and log data to supply reports and analysis of Quality Certification and Documentation as and when required.Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work pre-emptively and always thinking ahead with multiple solutions to hand for any give scenario.The ability to work with little direction in a proactive and ambassadorial manner.Working to very tight and constantly changing deadlines with absolute discretion.Provide back up to the quality team's covering holiday leave and / or supporting overflow activities as deemed appropriate by the Senior Quality Compliance Officer.Keep accurate and up to date data and ensuring that is maintained in relation to Quality Administration / Certification.All trackers updatedPromote quality achievement and performance throughout the organisation.Maintain the companies Quality Administration Control processes to ensure that products are traceable and delivered with the correct certification / documentation.Carry out all relevant Quality Administration checks ensuring that all process documentation is stamped and or signed accordingly.Ensure that any discrepancies with certification or administration is highlighted, investigated and resolved prior to delivery to the customer.Supporting visitors on site, on a day to day basis / when required.Supporting 3rd party doc pack reviews for release.Updating and maintaining HelpSpot.Ensuring missed bookings are monitored and updated accordingly.Raising and actioning DR's.Raising other concessions.Support the Quality Assurance team as required in the following area(s):-Customer audit preparation.Internal reject analysis.Process auditsLiaising with customers' and external auditors and ensuring the execution of the appropriate Certification and Documentation and compliance with the required specifications.Support the quality team in relation to the procedures for ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001.Ensure adherence to schedule for certification and documentationThe Successful ApplicantA successful Quality Compliance Officer should have:Basic technical knowledge of material certification is essential.Experience of working to defence and material standards (Def Stans) would be beneficialExperience of aerospace FAIR process would be beneficialAble to review and interpret material certification to ensure compliance with standards and to customer specific requirements, e.g. (QASOR's) Quality Assurance Statement of RequirementsProven experience of material certification, documentation compilation and control.Have or able/willing to obtain security clearance.Strong administration and organisational capability, with a high level of attention to detail, prioritisation and planning skills.Previous experience of engineering / manufacturing is desirable.Experience and knowledge of quality management principles and systems.Strong computer literate skills including experience and knowledge of IT systems and intermediate to advanced level in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Proactive and flexible approach and willingness to learn.Ability to engage, collaborate and communicate professionally and clearly with all levels of the organisation both internally and externally.Can-Do, Will-Do attitude, with good process skills and the ability to problem solve and determination to continually improve the business.Excellent attention to detail with a high accuracy level.Excellent interpersonal (written and oral) and customer facing skills.Able to keep the customers' interests front of mind, creating strong and in-depth relationships.Able to take responsibility, work independently and manage own workload.What's on Offer£37,400Flexi working hoursGenerous holiday leave and additional benefits package.Opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation in Birmingham.Engagement with a high-performing team in the industrial and manufacturing sector.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Compliance Officer to make a tangible impact.
