Job Description

  • Lead and motivate the engineering team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures in line with industry practices.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and manage team performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Plan and manage budgets related to the engineering department.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the FMCG industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Team Leader should have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
  • Team leader experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Excellent team management and motivational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using relevant engineering tools and software.
