Job Description

  • Ensure properties comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of properties within the portfolio.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of compliance checks and certifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for necessary repairs or updates.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and ensure policies are updated accordingly.
  • Provide detailed reports on compliance status to senior management.
  • Support tenants with any compliance-related concerns or queries.
  • Assist in the development of compliance training materials for staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Property Compliance Officer should have:

  • Experience in property compliance or a related field within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
