Job Description

The Production Planner will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing production planning processes.
  • Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identifying and addressing any issues that could impact production schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinating with various departments for cross-functional projects.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
  • Decide what materials will be required by using SAP/BYD
  • Chase overdue parts from purchasing
  • Release production orders on time

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Planner should have:

  • Previous experience as a Production Planner
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
