The main purpose of the role is to manage NPD projects for the customer base from concept through to launch, ensuring they meet both customer and company expectations. Also, to comply with all technical requirements, and achieve a timely, flawless, and successful launch with support from the relevant site functions.

Job Description



  • Collaborate with the Development team to deliver new concepts and projects aligned with customer briefs.


  • Manage development projects from initial brief (provided by site NPD controllers) through to successful product launch.


  • Establish critical timelines and ensure all project milestones are met, fulfilling customer, business, commercial, nutritional, and process development requirements.


  • Adhere to the product development process, ensuring each stage is completed, accurately documented, and effectively communicated to key stakeholders.


  • Take a leading role in packaging development activities.


  • Prepare concept samples in collaboration with the NPD team for internal and external presentations, ensuring recipe costs align with target budgets.


  • Accurately input all necessary product information into written customer presentations with precision and attention to detail.


  • Participate in customer presentations as required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Food Technology degree (or similar).
  • Ability to work with key stake holders and customers.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Computer literacy.
