We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated Personnel Assistant to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our department's administrative and strategic functions within the public sector.

Job Description

  • Provide robust support to the Secretarial & Business Support department.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive research to inform policy decisions.
  • Coordinate and organise meetings, including minute-taking.
  • Manage correspondence and communication within the department.
  • Compile and maintain reports for senior management.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the department through effective administrative support.
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned within the public sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Policy & Support Officer should have:

  • A strong academic background with a focus on public policy or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a support role within a busy office environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.

What's on Offer

A competitive hourly rate, Based on a Salary of £33,024

Weekly Pay

Flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm
