Job DescriptionThis brand new People Analyst role will be responsible for/to:Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support People Services strategies, initiatives and improve policies and processes.Collect and compile People Services data from various sources, including systems and surveys.Analyse data and generate graphs, visuals and reports on key People Services metrics such as headcount, attrition, retention, absence and employee satisfaction.Identifying trends and leading on the provision of people data to enhance operational performance.Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform People decision-making.Collaborate with People Services team members to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.Support People Services projects and initiatives, including, pay modelling, benefit reviews, Gender pay gap reporting, performance management, talent acquisition and HR and Payroll system upgrade.Maintenance and integrity of people data and improving the HR and Payroll systems to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation and comply with statutory requirements.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in People Services systems and reports.The Successful ApplicantThe successful People Analyst should be/have:Proven track record and ability in a HR data analyst role.Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.Strong attention to detail, particularly in data analysis and reporting, to provide actionable insights.Excellent attention to detail, methodical, logical and communication skills.Demonstrable analytical & report writing skills as well as strong organisational and administrative skills.Experience in analysing HR, Pay and benefit data.Experience with HRIS systems, including implementation and ongoing management.Power BI experience advantageous.Working successfully with stakeholders regarding data analysis.Managing continuous improvement and innovation within HR.What's on OfferThe People Analyst role offers a great package including:A competitive salary of c£35,000.The opportunity to work in a meaningful not-for-profit industry.A supportive and inclusive company culture.The chance to make a significant impact in the Human Resources field.Located in the vibrant city of York, hybrid working opportunities.ContactMelanie ParkesQuote job refJN-032025-6691097Phone number+44 113 388 9025Job summaryJob functionHuman ResourcesSubsectorHR AdvisorSectorNot For ProfitLocationYorkContract typePermanentConsultant nameMelanie ParkesConsultant phone+44 113 388 9025Job referenceJN-032025-6691097
