Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day plant operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering projects to support operational improvements and innovation.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations, including COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Work hands-on with all areas of the business, from operators to company owners.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in operations management within the chemical industry or a any related manufacturing process.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum HNC in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing safety in a regulated environment.
