Job Description

    • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of field engineers via regular 121's and annual appraisals.
    • Monitor performance to ensure high levels of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • To work closely with the office manager to enable a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure all new engineer recruits are onboarded professionally and efficiently
    • Oversee the scheduling of service calls, installations, and maintenance to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of work.
    • Ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are available for each job.
    • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed by the engineers to enable efficient communication with the office.
    • Manage inventory of HVAC parts, equipment, and tools, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on satisfaction surveys and service reviews.
    • Analyse and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
    • Identify areas for improvement in workflows, job completion times, and customer communication.
    • Implement best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
    • To ensure a consistent system is used to produce competitive quotes.
    • To ensure an accurate asset register is in place.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
    • Conduct site inspections to maintain a safe working environment for staff and clients.
    • Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

Leadership & People Management:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a field team of engineers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, clients, and suppliers.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to handle workplace challenges and customer concerns.



HVAC Knowledge & Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth understanding of air conditioning systems, HVAC equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common HVAC issues and assist in diagnosing technical problems.
  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair processes specific to air conditioning systems.



Project Management:

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
