Job Description

  • Ensuring that all maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Guaranteeing that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and securely, and in line with company policies and procedures and current health and safety legislation.
  • Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building are maintained to the highest standards of order and tidiness at all times.
  • Adhering to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site, keeping up to date & accurate records.
  • Directly manages the club Maintenance Engineer and organises work rotations and individual assignments.
  • Managing the monthly budget for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the Club in collaboration with the General Manager and Operation Manager.
  • Acts as point of contact for all external technicians and companies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'M&E Maintenance Manager' should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably in the Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
