About Our Client

As an incredibly well known and well loved beauty brand, the business hold many years of heritage and their products are used by thousands of customers across the globe.They have gone through a real journey of change over the last 5 years, targeting different consumers, launching in different channels and generally changing perspective around the brand.They are now looking to add a National Account Manager to their team to lead on one of their largest retail customers.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to maximise profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the FMCG sector.
  • Deliver sales presentations and produce reports on account performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Participate in relevant industry events and training workshops.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager should have:

  • A strong background in sales within the FMCG industry, managing a mix of supermarket and highstreet retail accounts (ideally Boots or Superdrug)
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Good knowledge of industry regulations and company policies.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in industry events.

What's on Offer

Up to £75,000 + car allowance, bonus + benefits.

2 days a week in the Midlands office
