National Account Manager - South (Consumer Goods Brands)

Job Description

The National Account Manager - South (Consumer Goods Brands) will be responsible for the following.

  • Drive profitable growth across the southern region of the UK, managing the relationships with trade partners and wholesalers for the professional / b2b channel for the business.
  • Develop strong internal relationships across marketing, finance, supply chain etc. to create strong working partnerships.
  • Manage and execute customer sales plans for wholesalers and trade partners for the industry, being responsible for the financial performance of each customer in the region they will manage.
  • Assess performance regular basis, and ROI for all promotional activity and campaigns.
  • Monitor all relevant competitor activity and communicate this within sales meetings, forecasting and reporting.



This role is a field based one with limited office time, therefore we require candidates to be motivated by field / remote working where they will be tasked with driving strong face to face relationships with key customers.

The Successful Applicant

The National Account Manager - South (Consumer Goods Brands) will come with the following skills and experiences:

  • track record of account management and / or business development in the consumer goods industry (we are ideally looking for candidates coming from a consumer electronics, electrical goods or electrical health, beauty and wellness products for this role)
  • excellent presentation and communication skills - strong relationship builder and enjoys being on the road in a field-based capacity
  • experience in selling in to wholesalers, trade sellers, professional trade channel, hair, beauty, spa etc,. salons
  • Excellent sales and negotiation experience
  • excellent organisational, time management and IT / Excel skills



Ideally we are looking for candidates who have a central base such as Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire where they good access to the south region in all directions.
