Job Description

As the Multi Skilled Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to enhance equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and equipment performance.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
  • Support the training and development of junior team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:

  • A recognised qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in maintaining equipment within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and automated equipment is desirable.
  • A commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the workplace.
