Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement mechanical maintenance strategies.
  • Plan and oversee projects related to mechanical engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Monitor and manage the department's budget.
  • Liaise with other department heads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mechanical Team Leader should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
