Job Description

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Order and manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns during the weekend shift.

The Successful Applicant

  • A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7am-7pm).
