Job Description

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications.
  • Oversee the installation and testing of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including reports, schematics, and manuals.
  • Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Contribute to cost and time estimations for engineering projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical skills in designing and analysing mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the field.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Clean drivers licence required and access to vehicle
