Job Description

  • Develop and implement training programmes aligned with organisational goals.
  • Facilitate engaging workshops and training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Manage the learning management system to ensure accurate records and reporting.
  • Provide advice on professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Support the creation of career pathways and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure all training materials comply with organisational policies and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful L&D Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in learning and development roles, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems and training evaluation methods.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing learning needs.
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field.
