A REMOTE Key Account Manager role within the Toys industry. You will drive relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term business growth and success, office presence once or month or so, in Glasgow (overnights covered).

Job Description

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key retail clients to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and develop strategies to capitalise on them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Analyse market trends and client needs to tailor solutions that align with business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and account reviews to key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Track and report on account performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and build networks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales within the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret market data effectively.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance reporting.
  • A valid driving licence to support client visits and travel requirements.
