Job Description

  • Maintain and update housing records and databases with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to the housing team, including preparing correspondence and reports.
  • Respond to tenant enquiries and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Assist with the coordination of property inspections and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant housing regulations and organisational policies.
  • Support the preparation of meetings and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, professionally and promptly.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the housing administration function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Housing Administrator should have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the housing or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
