Their London office is bustling with activity and thrives on team collaboration.Job DescriptionOptimise the performance of the London Operation to deliver a best in class service, being exceptional at the basics.Management of the HR team and supporting in development and driving excellent performance and service delivery.Regular visits to head office and sites across London to provide HR support and guidance of a full range of employee relations issues: maternity, paternity, parental leave, sickness and absence, performance.Advising, coaching and embedding management capability to support best practice in the management of people issues.Conducts Cost-Benefit analysis of HR initiatives and programs and evaluates this based on priorities and directions from HR and the accounts.Identifies the gaps in existing HR policies; formulates HR policies relative to business directions in order to address gaps; consults with other business units, if necessary, and creates communication plan relevant to target audience.Advising Managers and Leaders with honest, pragmatic and accurate People and HR support.Supporting the delivery of induction programmes and manage probation periods.Conducts review or development of HR policies based on observations, trends, and directions; translates these policies into operating guidelines and consults with the country head to ensure alignment to over- all business directions. & in line with the Group People policiesMonitoring, checking and collaborating with others in the business to ensure that we have a fair and inclusive workplace.Build a culture of learning and development, working closely with the leaders of the organisation to identify key learning and development areas and develop career paths & utilise programmes created by group to deliver career & leadership developmentEnsures compensation and benefits are equally implemented across levels. Reviews and provides recommendations for any C&B related concerns or discrepancies.The Successful ApplicantExperience in a mid/large multi-site, unionized environment is essentialSignificant experience of working in a generalist role with in-depth understanding of people processes, culture and learning and developmentAble to build trust and confidence quickly, action oriented, influence and inspire all levels of the organisationStrong business partnering capability and demonstrable experience of supporting a SLT & LT to deliver excellent performance.Able to work at pace to collaboratively deliver in an environment of competing short- and long-term priorities.Demonstrable people management skills.
