Job Description

Lead and manage the operation, maintenance, and development of complex building services across a historic estate. Oversee asset management, project delivery, energy efficiency, health and safety, contract management, and financial control. Ensure high performance, compliance, and value for money while leading a large, multidisciplinary team and supporting strategic estate objectives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be an experienced and strategic engineering leader with a strong background in managing complex building services in high-profile, operationally critical environments.

They will possess in-depth technical knowledge - particularly of mechanical and electrical systems, energy management, and building controls (such as Trend BMS) - and demonstrate a proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams. With excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, they will effectively influence at senior levels and drive continuous improvement.

A relevant professional qualification or significant senior management experience is essential, along with a solid track record in health & safety, budget management, and delivering asset management excellence.
