Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and functionality of finished products.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Complete relevant documentation for assembly and quality assurance processes.
  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of industrial equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fitter should have:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
