Job Description

  • Conducting comprehensive pre and post inspections after FRAs have taken place by an external provider
  • Delivering accurate reports regarding the conditions of properties.
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Communicating effectively with various stakeholders regarding safety matters.
  • Providing expert advice on fire safety to the construction department.
  • Implementing improvements based on fire risk assessment findings.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations.
  • Contributing to the overall safety strategy of the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fire Surveyor should have:

  • An in-depth understanding of fire safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience within the construction industry is beneficial.
