As a Finance Assistant (HYBRID), you will be a crucial member of the accounting and finance team, responsible for a range of tasks such as data entry, report generation, and financial analysis. Your role will be based in Chertsey (HYBRID), where you will contribute to maintaining the financial health and smooth operation of the organisation. HYBRID: 2-3 days from home per week. (and 2-3 days in the office)

Job Description

Finance Assistant (HYBRID):

  • Performing data entry and maintaining financial records
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations
  • Providing support for budget preparation
  • Conducting financial analysis and presenting findings to the team
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Supporting the accounting team in day-to-day operations
  • Helping to streamline and improve financial processes within the company

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Assistant (HYBRID) should have:

  • A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial software
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
