Job Description

  • Leading and motivating a team to achieve store targets.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Assisting in the development of store strategies to expand store traffic and optimise profitability.
  • Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Developing and arranging promotional material and in-store displays.
  • Maintaining store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Reporting on buying trends, customer needs and profits.
  • Proposing innovative ideas to increase market share.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Store Manager should have:

  • Proven successful experience as a retail manager.
  • Powerful leading skills and business orientation.
  • Customer management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree or equivalent in business administration, sales or relevant field.

What's on Offer

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Flexible contracts. You'll usually work over 5 days, but - if it helps - you can work a 40-hour contract over 4 days. Can offer 32 and 36 hour contracts, and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated.
  • 4 weeks annual leave.
