Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Collections.
  • Work alongside various specialist curators within the organisation.
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments efficiently.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including accommodation and itineraries.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support the organisation of events and meetings, ensuring all logistical needs are met.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Executive Assistant should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an art gallery or museum.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders and external partners.
