Job Description

  • Lead the Employee Relations (ER) team to deliver exceptional HR services.
  • Develop and implement strategic ER initiatives aligned with the company's goals.
  • Manage all aspects of employee relations including conflict resolution and grievance procedures.
  • Assisting with the creation, review, amendment, and communication of employment policies and handbooks, highlighting actions and flagging issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior management to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and organisational policies.
  • Analyse ER metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to all staff on ER matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ER Manager should have:

  • Experience in management of ER cases, policies and procedures
  • An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Ability to working independently with little instruction and to liaise with staff in various locations
  • Working knowledge of current employment law
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Experience in a fast moving, customer facing organisation preferred
  • CIPD qualified (preferred not essential)
