We are actively seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who will bring expertise within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be solution-focused, have a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a high level of expertise in electrical systems with a mechanical understanding.
  • Days based role with an early finish on a Friday!

Job Description

  • Maintenance and repair work to machinery
  • Electrical maintenance and fault finding on motor-drives, controllers and PLC's
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
  • Continually update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in technology
  • Contribute to the overall success and continuous improvement of the organisation
  • Provide cover at other sites (Machine Maintenance and facilities maintenance)

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

  • A HNC Electrical Engineering or a equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • 16th, 17th or 18th Edition IEE qualification
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Superb communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
