Director of Business Development EMEA - Hotels+Leisure Channel

Job Description

The Director of Business Development EMEA - Hotels+Leisure Channel will grow new strategic partnerships, drive sales and manage key customer relationships through strong team management (remote business development and sales managers in European markets).

This person will track new markets trends, recommend new products and services to customers and drive the long term commercial objectives for the development of the EMEA commercial business. As well as driving increased performance with the existing portfolio they will build pipelines across new channels across the wider hotel, spa, leisure, venue sub sectors also.

As well as managing the business development team, they will working across multiple functions and be heavily involved in commercial and strategic development for the business, based from the UK. This person will bring not only a wealth of relevant experience, but bags of drive, passion for development, a track record of effective remote management, create a strong and harmonious working environment for the team and empower their direct reports to set very high standards, creating a high-performing and valuable team for my client.

The Successful Applicant

The Director of Business Development EMEA - Hotels+Leisure Channel will come with the following skills and experiences:

  • proven track record in sales and business development in the Hotel, Leisure channels
  • strong track record of leadership and managing, driving a commercial team
  • track record of key account management and high profile customer acquisitions
  • track record of strong financial growth performance
  • excellent ability to network and drive key commercial pipeline across multiple verticals
  • track record of managing high profile customers across the UK and EMEA
  • excellent financial, organisational, presentation and commercial skills
  • ability to report and forecast on a regular basis to the senior board
  • ability to work under pressure, to key KPIs and prioritise with key decision making
  • extremely positive, driven and passionate character who supports and empowers their team



We are open on location, ideally in England but all UK locations for relevant candidates can be considered.
