Job Description

  • Manage and lead design to ensure project success
  • Coordinate with various departments to align design and construction processes
  • Implement and oversee design standards and protocols
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory compliance
  • Provide design input on construction projects from inception to completion
  • Manage project budgets and timelines
  • Continuously improve design processes and methodologies
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Design Manager should have:

  • A degree in Design, Construction, Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Design Manager in the house building or affordable homes sector
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams
  • Excellent understanding of design and construction processes
  • Knowledge of design software and technologies
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
