Through wider collaboration, working with our clinical and non-clinical colleagues, we deliver economies of scale, better data sharing, best practice, remove unwarranted variation from our practices and supply base, to maximise value and efficiencies.Job DescriptionThe Deputy Head of Procurement - Non-Clinical is a leadership role, playing an important part in supporting the Head of Sourcing to innovate the way in which Procurement provide a strategic sourcing service as well as leading, managing and supporting the non-clinical sourcing work stream. The Deputy Head of Sourcing and Non Clinical is pivotal to leading the non-clinical work stream to develop BSW ICS wide category strategies that deliver value through innovative sourcing processes, robust contract management and efficient and cost effective supply chains.The role is essential to building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across BSW ICS, representing the Procurement Service at strategic and operational forums providing expertise and insights on delivering value for money whilst maintaining compliance with internal regulations and legislation.The Deputy Head of Sourcing and Non Clinical is empowered to lead a work stream of circa 11 people with 3 direct reports, owning all elements of the sourcing cycle from Project Launch through to Implementation, navigating the non-clinical work stream and stakeholders through developing procurement strategies, executing the category strategy, negotiating effectively with suppliers, implementing contract management routines as well as providing support and guidance to all.The role will shadow tasks undertaken by the Head of Sourcing, providing an amazing opportunity to be exposed to Executive Leads and Board Sponsors locally and regionally.
