Job Description

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Ensure product availability by coordinating with warehouse and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategic plans to improve customer demand forecasts.
  • Review historical sales trends and prepare forecast data.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimise costs.
  • Report key supply chain metrics to guide senior management decisions.
  • Foster constructive relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Continually improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approach.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • Demand Planning experience essential
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software.
