Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the organisation's commercial property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and renewals.
  • Conduct property valuations and appraisals to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise income, reduce costs, and optimise asset performance.
  • Negotiate with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders to secure favourable agreements and maintain positive relationships.
  • Provide professional advice on property matters to support the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the portfolio aligns with sustainability targets and supports economic development initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Holds professional qualifications as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with relevant commercial property experience.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of property legislation, valuation, lease management, and asset optimisation strategies.
  • Demonstrates excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering income growth, cost efficiencies, and strategic property outcomes.
  • Shows a proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving organisational goals and sustainability objectives.
