Job Description

  • Set and operate CNC Lathes to produce components to specified tolerances.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform routine checks on CNC equipment.
  • Ensure all production meets quality assurance standards.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CNC Setter/Operator should have:

  • Proven experience in CNC setting and operating
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in an industrial environment.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.

What's on Offer

  • Salary in the range of £30,000 to £33,000 DOE
  • Double Days shifts - 38hour week
  • Week 1
  • 06:00 - 14:00 Monday -Thursday
  • 06:00 - 12:00 Friday
  • Week 2
  • 14:00 - 22:00 Monday - Thursday
  • 12:00 - 18:00 Friday
