Job Description

  • Develop and optimise CNC programs to support efficient production processes.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
  • Set up and test CNC machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all machining operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to CNC programs and production workflows.
  • Provide technical support and training to machine operators as necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven expertise in CNC programming within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, CAD/CAM software, and machining processes.
  • Experience with setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot CNC equipment effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage production workflows.
