Business Development Manager - Skincare.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager - Skincare will source, maintain and develop business in the direct sale of my clients' Skincare products to our business partners.

The South Business Development Manager will act as a resource to their accounts within the assigned territory, offer education and provide business building consultations.

  • Identify and execute strategies to obtain sales orders from spas; medical spas, beauty salons and licensed aestheticians
  • Gain and maintain solid professional relationships with accounts assigned by UK sales manager
  • Monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual strategic planning and execution of education classes, events, and marketing initiatives with UK Head Office and strategic key accounts
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual sales goals for London and strategic key accounts assigned
  • Attend industry tradeshows and bi-annual sales meetings
  • Thorough completion of weekly and monthly reports
  • Planning and execution of duties assigned for UK Head Office events, meetings, and or tradeshows
  • Identify and recommend new customer accounts and provide exceptional service and support to existing accounts for the purpose of taking sales orders
  • Provide ongoing product and skincare training for the purpose of soliciting sales orders
  • Support accounts with brand positioning and merchandising materials provided from UK Head Office
  • Utilise Salesforce and any other required tools as instructed
  • Identify potential growth areas, identify and recommend new accounts to Sales Manager
  • Prospect territory and grow existing business
  • Achieve scorecard goals and targets
  • Provide outstanding service to all accounts and prospective accounts

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager - Skincare will come with the following experiences and skills:

  • Field sales experience in aesthetics or professional skincare (physicians, spas, salons)
  • Qualified NVQ 3 or equivalent Beauty Therapist
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Microsoft Office Systems Experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Effective communication and selling skills
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Self-Disciplined
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of my client's UK management



Ideally we'd like someone based in the Greater London area, and able to be in the field min 4 days per week.

What's on Offer

Up to £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance, plus commission and incentives + benefits
