Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the retail industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Create and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends to identify areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a BDM role. Bonus points if you've got listings secured into Top 4 Grocers
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and its market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Comfort using CRM tools and other sales software.
